Arbitration Cost Calculator
The amount of arbitration costs usually consists of the following items:
- Registration charge to the Institute
- Fee(s) to the arbitrator(s)
- Administrative charge to the Institute
- Any expenses incurred, such as fee(s) for the expert(s), rental of the hearing room, catering arrangements, transportation, etc.
The registration charge of DKK 7,500 or EUR 1,000 is to be paid to the Institute's bank account when filing the Request for Arbitration at the Institute. The amount of the fee(s) to the arbitrator(s) and the amount of the administrative charge to the Institute depend on the total amount in dispute.
1. Disputed Amount
By accepting the case, the arbitrator accepts a fee in accordance with the Institute’s rates. The fee to the arbitrator cannot exceed the maximum amount stated above. If a case is settled amicably or for other reasons not finalized, the Institute shall determine a suitable fee, taking into account the work that the Institute and the arbitral tribunal have put into the case.
