The appointment of arbitrators by Danish Arbitration is done in accordance with UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules (1976).
The chairmanship of Danish Arbitration decides whether a person proposed as arbitrator shall be deemed to be impartial or independent, or whether a person appointed arbitrator shall have to resign on those grounds. If a member of the chairmanship is prevented from participating in this decision-making process, another Council member participates.
Upon the request of either party, Danish Arbitration will produce a statement on the principles upon which the fees of the arbitral tribunal were determined. This will be done based on the rates applied by Danish Arbitration at the time the arbitral proceedings commence.
Upon request, Danish Arbitration will produce a statement on the principles upon which the amount of security in the case was determined.
